Impacts of Meteorological Parameters on Tropospheric Ozone Concentrations in Çanakkale

Meteorological factors have a significant impact on the formation and transport of tropospheric ozone. In addition to meteorological factors, solar radiation associated chemical reactions, topography, pollution sources also affect ozone concentration levels (O3). this study, influences (temperature, wind speed, relative humidity, radiation) O3 were investigated for Çanakkale throughout 2014-2018 period. It was found that in summer season are linked with high humidity and, especially temperature. The statistical analysis indicated concentrations at Çan district (SE Çanakkale) positively correlated temperature during autumn seasons (r=0.53). Similarly, statistically positive correlation Lapseki station (r=0.48), spring (r=0.41), months (r=0.40), respectively. On other hand, (RH) displayed negative correlations stations. addition, observed between nitrogen oxides (NOX) values measured station. main important affecting as local conditions long-range transportation pollutants from anthropogenic (e.g. vehicle, industrial emissions, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted solvents industry).
